Flagstaff - At various times this has been called a plantation (the significance of which escapes me), even Wyman Plantaion. It occupies the area originally designated N4 R4 West. In 1950 it was flooded by a dam and i suspect there will be no census for this area after then.
N3 R4 West - Why Flagstaff has a name and this area didn't ever get one is a question. I suspect it is very remote and not terribly friendly to settlement and it was only in one census in 1900.
Pierce Pond - As with the above this area, N2 R4 West, had only one census taken and that was in 1910.
Bowtown - Occasionally confused mapmakers called this West Forks but that area was north of Dead River while this area was south of it and was, thus, N1 R4 West. By 1850 it acquired its name but 1880 was the last census taken for this area. It still seems to be called Bowtown.

The Forks Plantation - It was established in 1840 but the originally named N1 R4 was settled a bit earlier. Considering the confusion over West Forks, the name may have encompassed the entire area surrounding the Dead River and Kennebec River confluence along with a couple of other streams which make up what looks like a fork.
East Moxie - By 1910 N2 R4 had gained its name of East Moxie. I guess it's east of Moxie but so isn't Squaretown so who knows why this one got the name.
